Authors Notes - “Something About 5B” is a little horror short story I came up with one day reading the news. I read an article on the website for my hometown about a woman’s body being found at the bottom of a staircase. I tossed it around a little bit about all the possibilities of how this might happen. I started the staircase description and it just went off from there. It wasn’t planned or scripted out, it just began and I followed the thread. Completely off the cuff. I like it because of that and because I think it leaves a ton of questions out there as to why these things happen. And why they continue to happen. If you leave the door open for the presence of something evil, which seems to me to be inherent in the human condition, then there may not be any end at all.

Seemed good,but not sure because I had review this book...why? Seems a bit early to review it, when only able to read couple pages. Why can I not read further??????

I really liked this short story. I liked the way it started and I liked the way it ended. Even though it was short it had great characters. I would recommend reading it.
Would of made a great novel. I would of liked to learn more about the people. Loved it anyway. Woot
A nice little short story in the horror genre. What I like about this one is that it just lays things out there, doesn't try to get real deep. It leaves enough for the reader to think about afterwards.
It maybe could go into more depth but for a 15 minute or so reading time I really enjoyed it. I'm reading his other stuff too and will review that.
I read this thinking it was going to be a horror story. It really wasn't. It left me disappointed and just got the end thinking, this is it?
